Solenoid Control Valves
MAGNATROL SOLENOID OPERATED VALVES are used to control the flow of liquids or gases, generally
in conjunction with automatic control apparatus such as thermostat, float switch, time switch, or flow meter.
Made of malleable iron, designed for rugged industrial use, the housing protects the coil from accidental
damage. All solenoid housings feature a self-contained terminal box with 1/2 in. tapped conduit connection
which may be turned in various directions for convenient wiring.
A sturdily constructed stem assembly consisting of a laminated plunger and stainless steel pilot flexibly
connected to the piston. The discs are of standard sizes with material as dictated by operating conditions.
Coils are available with class A or H insulation and are designed for continuous duty.
A flanged metallic tube encloses the plunger and hermetically seals the top of the valve.
Constructed of high pressure cast bronze or stainless steel in a globe pattern with screwed ends. Available
in a full range of sizes.
Valve Construction Features
- 2-Way globe design
- Bronze or stainless steel body with female NPT threads standard
- Stainless steel also available with 150# and 300# flanged ends
- Full port-internal pilot operated or direct acting
- Pack-less construction
- Continuous duty coils for all voltages
- No differential pressure required to open.

When you order be sure to specify
Voltage (AC or DC)
Max. Diff. Press.
Strainers are recommended for use with solenoid valves
The maximum differential pressure is the maximum difference
between pressure on the upstream side and the downstream
side of a valve at which the solenoid valve will operate.
